| The Desert Light Labyrinth is a sacred space dedicated
to the awareness of the timeless reality of pure being. To honor this
space, the Labyrinth and Meditation Promontory are kept in silence.
Music may be played during walks and meditation, but it will not have
language commonly understood by participants. The Desert Light Labyrinth
is "beyond words".
When you visit, enjoy the sounds of the desert and freedom from the verbalization of ideas and concepts. Let's make way for absolute silence and stillness of mind. Brief, quiet conversations made be had outside of the ocotillo fence in the shrine area. If you come with friends and would like to share your experiences, please adjourn to Arivaca's coffee shop, or other local eatery, or take a walk through the beauty of the Arivaca Cienega to have your discussion.
